We headed to Boston to ride out Hurricane Sandy yesterday with Mo’s grandmother who lives on the ocean, and we thought we’d share some photographs we made during the storm.

Driving by South Boston in the rain.

A police car passes on the highway.

Boston buildings in the rain.

Gas container for the generator in the backseat.

Alan inspects the backyard mid-storm as Mo’s Grandma watches from the kitchen.

Waves crash over the seawall at Minot’s Beach.

Seawater rushes up the stairs from the beach.

The ocean churns as high-tide approaches.

We’re all safe and sound and the storm wasn’t too bad in our area, but our thoughts are with all of those who have been less fortunate. A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in keeping everyone safe, and helping with the clean-up efforts.
